The Talkies
This week Miss A and I are off to the talkies to see the Japanese film "Helen the Baby Fox". It is a sad tale about a deaf, dumb and blind fox cub who is taken in by a kind veterinary surgeon and his son in the country. I`m bracing myself for an absolutely tear-spillingly tragic tale! As I love foxes, I simply *must* see this flick. Much merchandise is being sold so I *have* to snap up a few foxy items. I do hope there will be a cute lunchbox of sorts.

Good Lord! Back in the old country, that kindly veterinary surgeon (probably called Basil something) would have most kindly put a well galoshed foot hard down on said vegetable foxes neck!
When will these provincials learn?
