Hello, Sailor!

Here is a snap of me from late last year at a DarkSoc 1920s picnic. As I dress mainly in dark clothes or rich colours, it was different to experiment with white. A common symbol of the 20s is the flapper: long, looped beads, fingerwaved hair and saucy evening dresses. The nautical, sailor-style gal is often forgotten! This maritime theme celebrates 20s and 30s style day and leisure wear, and is much fun to explore. Unfortunately, the bell-bottom white trousers I'm wearing can't be seen in full (they are huge and can sweep up puddles).
