Things I'm looking forward to ...

1. Pumping QueerPenguin thoroughly in the debriefing room to get a full report on his saucy gallavant across Europe.
2. Neil Gaiman book signing with Sir StuPot, where no doubt I'll rendezvous with fellow bookworms Miss Violet and Penny Dreadful.
3. Tonight's feast of my fave food: mashed potato with mashed pumpkin, chilli and coriander on the side. This is the only up-side of getting one's wisdom teeth removed: there is no better excuse than this to warrant eating a towering mound of mash ALL by one's self.
4. Spending good times with good friends before my big "byieeeeee" in August.
5. Enjoying the shiver of surreal reality when a) I land at Osaka airport and b) I hear the soaring guitar of Bernard Butler and the cockney falsetto whine of Brett Anderson at Summersonic.
6. My Angel Marathon, starting after point 3.
7. The deflation of the tennis-ball-sized swelling in my left cheek. I want my face back!

1. What time did you get up this morning? 12 hours after my wisdom teeth were ripped from my jaw. Occasionally woke up with blood drooling onto my pillow.

4. What is your favourite T.V. show? At the moment, Angel. And, in the same vein, so to speak, as Angelus, the taste of human blood in my mouth makes me rather cranky. I'm also partial to Oz on Monday nights.

7. Favourite cuisine? Indian.

8. What foods do you dislike? the occasional piece of uncooked eggplant troubles me.

11. What kind of car do you drive? none, but if I owned one, it would be an austen healy yolk-yellow bug-eyed sprite, or a british racing green mini cooper s with cream stripes: the two most cheerful cars in the world
