Our House

The abode of Miss Ember and Sir S can be espied behind these reeds. The forest on the hill is the main view we have from our house. The European-style building in the below snap is composed of two shoppes: one an expensive boutique; the other a charming store selling eclectic wares, from pearly-handled chopsticks, parasols, sarongs to plum incense and miniature bathroom models. I rather like the sign and its sinister duck! (Soz, guys and gals, am too rushed to tamper with topsy-turvy snaps!)
