Blossoms and wire

Evidencing the warmer winter of the Northern Hemisphere, the first plum blossoms were spotted near the cemetery of Lafcadio Hearn. Streaking lines of electrical wire are a common sight in Japan, and here you can see the deep pink flowers budding amid overhanging cables.

Beautiful! I can't wait for the cherry blossoms to hit Tokyo.

Was looking at your older entries, and noticed you're a fan of Kaori Wakamatsu. I have lots of her postcards too, pinned to the left window curtains that you admired. (thanks btw!)
